Grangewood Lodge

Grangewood Lodge incorporates a hairdressing salon and the services of a Chiropodist, audiologist and optician are also available.

Special observation has been made for dementia care, with the provision of a pub called the Tiny Tavern, Reminiscence Room, Gallery Square, Memory Lane, Sensory Street and Dignity Row, where pictures and stimulation enhance the life of those living with dementia.

Thoughtfully equipped rooms designed to cater to the residents every need are fitted with an effective 24-hour call system, allowing residents to request assistance from any part of our home or grounds, with safety, comfort, and overall well-being given high priority.

Grangewood Lodge is inspected by the Environmental Health food safety inspectors in line with legislation and is well equipped and  maintained to a high standard.

Menus continually evolve, with a three-weekly cycle that changes with the seasons. Residents are consulted and play an important part in relation to menu planning. We hold regular meetings with them to understand their preferences and take their choices into account. Meals may be served in the resident’s own room if so desired and special diets are observed.

Menus incorporate Vegetarian, vegan and Gluten free options and beyond this meals are opportunity for social interaction, culinary exploration, and, most importantly, enjoyment.
